About Our Parties

"The best party ever!"

I am passionate about delivering the most unique, exciting, fun, and memorable party experience a 4-10 year old can have! Being a parent myself, I also aim to make organising the party as hassle-free as possible for the parents and to ultimately give parents a chance to relax and enjoy the whole experience as much as the kids!

I host the parties with an assistant so once the kids are track side we take over from there leaving the parents to relax, take pictures or cheer on with the kids.

Parties are structured with lots of different fun driving games and activities designed to keep the kids entertained from start to finish. We encourage the kids to let loose and make lots of noise with cheering track side etc but of course always in a controlled manner!

As well as lots of fun we ensure that all the kids have a very positive experience with lots of encouragement and praising (along with the odd high five), and of course we make sure that the birthday child receives lots of special treatment to make the party a particularly special and memorable occasion for them.

What happens at the party?

Once we've given the kids a safety briefing, the excitement really starts!

For their first go the kids will do warm up/practice laps so they get used to the controls without having to think about anything else at this stage (but the karts are really easy to drive so this will not be an issue - even for 4 year olds).

Then we will play some really fun games on the karts.  Having completed over 2,500 parties we have a really good insight into which games work well for different age groups and abilities so we tailor the games and kart speeds accordingly.

Standard games for all ages:

- ‘Laser Strike’ (x4 kids use different coloured laser guns track side and x4 kids drive the karts around with targets attached to the karts.  The laser shooters have to try and turn as many of the targets their gun’s colour as they can.  Who will have the most targets their colour when the whistle blows?)

- ‘Cops and Robbers’ (chase with two wearing robbers’ masks and two wearing flashing police helmets, starting opposite sides of the track)

For kids aged 4-5 we may add ‘Emergency Stopping’ (trying to be the first to stop on my whistle) and 'Grand Prix Racing' (all four karts start abreast under the archway of the track and drivers attempt to receive the chequered flag at the end of 3/4 laps)

For kids aged 6 we add 'Roadwork Dodging' (can they weave around the course of real traffic cones, road signs and my assistant without hitting anything (my assistant hopes so)?)

For kids aged 7+ we will put the speeds up to their max with 'Cops and Robbers' and 'Grand Prix Racing' if they are driving confidently and not crashing or bashing too much (we do not want to intimidate any kids not completely confident with the driving)

For kids aged 8-10 we will add 'Reversing’ which is usually something completely new to them (and they usually have a new found respect for their parents reversing after that!)

We make sure the fun never stops, on and off the karts. Each group of four will have no longer than 1½ minutes for each activity, which is long enough for them to enjoy the activity, but ensures that those waiting do not have too long before their next go. We also include the waiting children in the activities as much as possible, getting them to shout out last 10 second countdowns, using the laser guns in the Laser Strike game, cheering on cops or robbers with police sirens to use etc. For the hour and half parties we also add a colouring in competition where we supply the colouring in sheets and pens and a big bag of sweets for the winner.

We always finish the party with a prize ceremony where each party guest will receive a special Go-Kart Party Certificate, and the birthday child will receive our unique Go-Kart Party ‘Best Driver’ trophy (but don’t tell them that of course!).  We then end the party with a lap of honour for the trophy winner, with flags out the back of the kart and lots of cheering as they drive around holding their trophy aloft in triumph!

We offer 1 hour (up to 16 children) or 1½ hour parties (up to 24 children), and can arrange food and/or facilities for the birthday tea afterwards for you as well. Just leave it to us
